Today I just hatched from my gold cocoon Hoy que broté del capullo dorado/cradled all the way by my mother the moon/ acunada por mi madre la luna/my father the sun watches my every move protegida por mi padre iradiante/
with so much tender loving care they surround me me rodean su ternura y cariño/that I never feel alone nor lost or sad.que…y no siento tristeza , ni soledad.
When I am thirsty I drink the sweet air Si me siento sedienta bebo el aire de almibar / that falls in pearly drops and wet my lips y sus gotas de perlas humedecen mis labios/ just like a gentle amorous kiss leve beso amoroso de gentil suavidad.
My godmother the earth feels my belly Mi madrina la tierra prodigiosa me nutre/ with delicious treats and fragrant elixirs. con sutiles fragancias delicadas y dulces/ She gave me a music box to sooth my dreams; puso andar la cajita que al oir su tonada me serena los sueños/enchanting voices sing out in canon voces lindas en cannon de intención encantada/with choirs of faeries that live in the trees, voces de hadas en coro de mansion arbolada/then came the bees with songs of honey que al zumbar serenatas sus abejas traviesas nos saplican de miel/ fluttering around delightful and jolly. Son graciosas y alegres que revuelan mi sueños.
