Teach me love, world

Diana_Carolina

Daddy's girl forgot love, became just a hook-up
To her friends releasing stress, she'd be the one to be looked up
Unknown hands and chapped lips, mercilessly took her
For a first she'd wish to be less of a looker.

She would dream of the sky, now sees nothing but a ceiling's fan
As she tried to remember childhood, being rocked by the unknown man
Though her body would be stained, didn't wish to feel the hand
That'd stroke her swollen cheeks, right how it all began.

No was always an option, and yet she moved forward
Gave in to a new experience, not caring if feeling cornered
What could matter after the deal after getting sobered?
Not by her or the strangers, the emotions were felt nor heard.

Mommy would look her with disgust by her unattached attraction
The music thundering in her ears could be her only distraction
When do you submit to the satisfaction in the interaction?
And make to them this same face, to get from them a reaction.

She used to tremble under clothes, which guy was to move the chess piece?
Was it pleasant the first time, to make them in numbers increase?
How could you think, girl, that in that storm you could find peace?
Don't you think of sad the cruelty, that only in tears you get release?

Did you perhaps were looking for someone that could move your lonely world?
Instead it roared your mental oceans, leaving you quiet in bed and curled
When words speak louder than actions, your silence is enough to be confirmed
That the candle light preserving your soul, still isn't quite burned.

Love yourself, girl, look for someone that will love you in days and nights
He'll fall head over heels for your shyness and the way your heart for him writes
He will kiss your hands and hold you, the way that should feel right
Cause girl, in love there's shadows but, where there's darkness, there should be light.
